Our Lucy cracks them open too! Unfortunately, they make her sick as...well...sick as a dog. We have to watch her really closely this time of year. Very cute photographs. Glad the acorns don't have the same effect on that sweet little thing.
So he just cracks them, not eats them? Good (and cheap) entertainment.
On the bottle trees-- I'm happy to hook you up whenever. These are made by our neighbor's fabricating shop-- they do commercial metal work, and make these in the slow times to keep their employees on the payroll. Their kids have type I diabetes, so they donate all profits to research. Nice. Prices range from around $100 up to more like $300-- the straight-armed ones like ours are cheaper, the more expensive ones have wiggly arms. I've been wanting one for SO long-- I really love it. Might be worth a road trip to Greensboro!
Too cute for words. Love the pictures and they do tell a great story.
