I'm a wife, hobbyist, teacher of sorts, and grad student in the South Carolina foothills.
In real life, I study Children's Literature and work with individuals of all ages in language-based academic intervention.

This blog is an amateur outlet for creative energy and a journal for our families. I have nothing to sell and no professional advice to offer (unless you're interested in Dyslexia, the science of reading, or literature).
The blog started out as Scattering Lupines, based on the classic picture book Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney. It's still the same blog in theme-- just with a change in scenery.
The gist of No Ennui is: there's no space for boredom,
with a hint of philanthropy, a slew of fleeting interests, hands-on ideas, daily life, art, food, and a constant pursuit to improve myself and my home for the sake of a better family and community.
I hope you enjoy your visit!
I just found your blog and it is so lovely :)
