eat your asparagus, folks

We tried this recipe last night. It's from Food and Wine magazine. I was surprised at how much I liked it. There is no cooking involved, so you are getting all the benefits of raw asparagus.
And here is a more fruity way to eat shaved, raw asparagus. It looks delicious!

  1. It sounds like it should not be good and you'd want to cook the veggy but it also sounds intriguing and if you say it is good...I'm tempted! xxx

  3. Hmmm-- really? I'm going to trust you because so far you've always been right (can we say FISH TACOS EVERY WEEK?!!) but I have my doubts about this one...

  4. Lupines and asparagus--I'm hooked! We have a source that plucks the asparagus from the ground and hands it over. I've never tried it uncooked but am certainly game. I'm going to become a happy "follower".

    Please stop by and visit.

  5. It hardly even tastes like asparagus when you eat it raw! I promise you all will like it.

The parmesan cheese really makes it, I think.

  7. Sounds tempting....although I think asparagus tastes like grass, but I've never tasted it raw. I'll pass this along to my daughter!
