WAIT!!!!! DON'T START COOKING YET!!!!!!

I forgot to mention on the last post:
-if you are only cooking for 2-4 people, you might want to cut that recipe in half. It will make a lot of black bean patties... possibly 10-12.
-Season the black bean patties mixture with approximately
1 t garlic powder
1/8 t onion powder
1/8 t cumin
and definitely SALT (about 1 t should do it, but certainly use more if you are pro-salt.)
And if you make this, good luck using my measurements! I didn't have a chance to make this again after I tweaked it the first time, so these are just guesses (yikes!).
You could always consult another black bean burger recipe and use the toppings I suggested.
(avocado, green chiles, monterey jack cheese, and chipotle Ranch dressing)
Those are what make this burger awesome anyway.
And you are probably now thinking, I will never try one of her recipes again!

  1. I'm tickled to have this recipe. I'll do it in Maine.

Thanks for the visit. You spurred me on to take time to post.

All joys to you (and I checked on Miss Rumphius" little cottage when we were in Maine. It looks great. I might post a pic of her cute mailbox)
