Regarding the recipe I posted today (see next post),
it doesn't have to be as complicated as it looks. Here's what you should do if you don't have three hours to spend stirring and blending:
Cook the meat as directed until just after you bring it to an initial boil. Then, transfer it to a slow cooker and cook either:
-on high for 3-4 hours
-on medium all day
For the potatoes, heat the potato cubes in the microwave for 10 minutes or until soft. Then, put the potatoes and all ingredients except milk and corn into a blender or food processor (use the milk only if the potatoes are too thick-- mine didn't need it). Blend until creamy. Transfer to a bowl, stir in corn, and reheat just before serving.

ReplyDeleteP.S. Did you know that "a lot" is a piece of land and not to be confused with "much" or "many"? So, above, I guess i SHOULD have said, "I've missed a plethora of posts since last i perused your posts."-)
In my book you used it right :)
