I can't even begin to surmise the number of times I've wanted to do this with the warm bundles of clothing that come out of the drier-- especially on cold, rainy days. This lady obviously embraced that feeling.

Now, I've begun tearing out the ads that really make me smile or laugh to hang on the fridge where they often catch my eye as I'm rushing around.
I'm thinking one day I'll frame them and make a "funny wall" in the office area.
Love your "wall" idea!! LOVE IT :) & Yes, I know that feeling well...Of wanting to wrap up in warm (clean!) laundry :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on the mommypod. Great resource.
ReplyDeleteHere's two ways we like salmon (we eat it weekly-- and would eat it more than that if I had my way!) Trader Joe's has an awesome frozen salmon, by the way.
Brush meat side with olive oil, place SKIN SIDE UP in an iron skillet and bake at 500 (7 minutes per inch of thickness.) Turn and bake same amount of time.
We make two sauces, both of which I enjoy. One is just a simple white sauce: 2T butter, 2T flour (stir while cooking for one minute) add 2c WARM milk, whisk until thick, (5 minutes or so) season with salt, pepper and 1T dried dill. Serve over pasta with salmon on top. The second sauce we serve on the side: 1/4 c sour cream, 1/4 c mayo, 1t. lemon juice, 1T good mustard, 1T dried dill.
I also have a longer salmon with lentil recipe-- very french, very yummy...
Yum! I copied and printed that. Thanks Melissa!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I seem to emjoy the commercials more than the programs they support. I love your wall idea. It would be a Happy place!
ReplyDelete:)
My sis in law has wonderful smelling laundry. My favorite detergent is Tide with white lilac scent. Yes, advertisements are very interesting and creative at times. I just now noticed that you became a follower on my blog--glad to have you!
ReplyDeleteThings that make us smile and laugh are SO important.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the post!
